Just in time for summer we brought in our ultimate blonde duo, Nicole Pidherny and Ashley Sandmoen-Hood! Together the ladies demonstrated 50 shades of blonde perfection for every client. Nicole covered her custom bleach outs, white outs and client colour adaption. Ashley showed the attendees how to work with pastels, pantones and base colour perfection.

We were fortunate to have Katie Matheson join us for our exciting Suki’s Socials event. She’s a color ace specialist with Aveda and well respected among her peers and hair fanatics. Katie demoed the trendiest lived in looks and shared tips on how to maximize and grow your bottom line from the chair.

Michelle Pargee, Goldwell North American Artistic Team Member joined us for an exceptional evening raising money. She showed the attendees how to personally brand their image in today’s market and how to showcase their skills in photo shoot competitions.

We were so excited to have three talented artists join us for our charity trinity demo night. Wella artist Dana Lyseng, Goldwell artist Joan Novak and L’oreal Professional artist Amber George were the guests of honor. They showcased their strengths in creative coloring, styling and hair pieces. Another successful Suki’s Socials event where hundreds were raised!

To start of the first demo evening of 2016 we were proud to announce that the “Street Thug Barbers” were our educators. Featuring their founder; master barber and educator Ross Wilson, co-founder and master colorist Cameron Sterling, as well as master barber and stylist Josh Malcolm.

Accomplished hairstylist, educator and salon owner with thirty years of experience under her belt showed us how to master quick up style methods. She showed new, fun and unique ways to create up styles that gave lots of inspiration to the attendees!

Oscar began his long history as an industry educator at the esteemed Vidal Sassoon Academy in the UK. He has worked in almost every single city in the world and is responsible for implementing a strong yet simple hair cutting system on many level throughout the Aveda network, where he was a head educator. We were thrilled and honoured to have him be a part of our Socials evening!

Union Salon co-owner and creative director Anthony Crosfield joined us for August’s charity evening. He’s a highly admired and sought after hair stylist in Vancouver. Winner of Slice Network’s superstar hair challenge (season 2) gave him the platform and boost many dream of.

We had co-owner of Volution Salon join us for this months charity evening. She’s known to be one of the “coolest hairdressers” in the city. Besides being very talented at just that, she has a knack for understanding the power of a strong community.

The creative director of La Biosthetique Canada, Marc Riese showcased the looks of the “skatergirl” in live presentations at the downtown Suki’s location. Hairstyles were young, wearable, textured, cool, casual and full of movement!
